"Why is there smoke coming from your closest?"
“Smoke?” Hiro questioned as he looked at his closet, and indeed there was smoke coming out of it.
“Crap!” Hiro exclaimed as he panicked and tried to look something to dump something over the fire.

❝Mochi! ❞
Hiro’s eyebrows furrowed as he scanned the outdoor patio of the Lucky Cat Cafe. He could have sworn he saw the familiar swish-and-flick of Mochi’s tail just around the planter but he couldn’t seem to find the damn cat anywhere.
Holding the door open with one hand, Hiro turned his head to check the large clock hanging from the cafe wall.
8:14 PM
Dark coffee brown eyes widened in horror as the young prodigy realized that he had exactly 16 minutes to find Mochi before Aunt Cass would notice his disappearance. God knows why she watched that horrible soap opera with the cat at 8:30 but that’s a mystery for Future Hiro to solve.
With a worried hum, Hiro decided to try calling out to the fat cat again.
