HELLO?!
GoatSham canon?
I really like the Shamura headcanons could you do Shamgoat headcanons?
Thank you! And sure!
//slapping my own hand with a ruler to keep from turning this into a 3-page essay about what I think Goat actually is to Shamura
They interact with each other like feral cats. Hissing and biting included. Their version of PDA is manhandling each other and play-fighting. Neither of them do it with the intent to harm, they just find it to be the most satisfying way to express themselves and be near each other. This extends to their verbal interactions too. Sarcasm and scathing remarks are their love language :3
Shamura is thrilled more by the idea of having someone more than anything. Whether they were the vessel that did the usurping or the God that got usurped, the Goat is theirs and they are the Goat's. It was made so by way of being Master and Vessel. Do they love Goat? Or is it simply infatuation? Lust, even? Does Goat even love them? As far as they're concerned, it doesn't matter. They see it as an unbreakable bond. A betrayed master is still a master. Attempting to put a label on their relationship beyond this flusters them greatly.
Shamura calls them by name (Goat) normally, but calls them by their title (Vessel, War/Conquest, etc) when they're displeased. They don't even have to be displeased with Goat specifically. if Shamura's in a bad mood, Goat doesn't get a name. And they've barely got a name in the first place. Sometimes they'll call Goat by their title just to mess with them, cause they know that Goat knows they do that when they're upset.
Goat is their number one enabler. Whether they're being silly or serious or some strange mix of the two, Goat's right there by their side. Some ideas are questionable, while some ideas are great—of the caliber everyone expects of the undefeated* God of War. Some ideas are outright bad, and their siblings would let them know as such. Shamura's reaction to this varied greatly. But Goat would never cause them such distress. Shamura thinks certain Followers are conspiring against them? They must be, Goat's already getting the tools needed to re-educate them. Shamura wants to build a Summer resort on the beach during low tide? Those structures won't be there come morning but sure, Goat will assist. Shamura craves the flesh of a God? Who is Goat to tell them no? Shamura wants Goat's flesh? Well.... they suppose Shamura can have that too.
Goat knows all of Shamura's favorite places to receive scritches. Both in and out of spider-centaur form. Including the spots that just make them melt into Goat's hands. Despite being one of the few non-violent ways they interact with each other, Goat still uses it like a weapon. Shamura insists that it's "cheating" and "dishonorable" when Goat takes advantage of said weakness in spars and the like.
Goat has only ever known the Shamura afflicted with madness. Shamura's been insane for as long as they've been sane, after all. When/if they finally meet Follower-Shamura, they're rather shell shocked—and a little off-put—because they're so used to Shamura acting a certain way. Goat starts trying to provoke them, because that's usually how they get Shamura's attention, but it just hurts their feelings at best and puts them on edge (because they think they're being threatened) at worst.
