Gobbledigook was a hapless goblin trying to survive on the low end of the dungeon food chain along with his companion the tiny fuzzball Niblitz. He appeared in many issues of White Dwarf beginning here with #43, July 1983. The signature "Bil" is usually assumed to be Bill Sedgwick, who was credited for art in other GW publications.

A typical day in the life of a dungeon-dwelling goblin, passing the time playing dice until some adventurers kick in the door looking for loot. (Gobbledigook comic in White Dwarf #45, September 1983, by "BiL," presumably Bill Sedgwick) Three coppers won't buy much back in town, and it takes 1 GP to earn 1 experience point, but the party may split at least 5 XP per goblin killed depending on which edition is being played and the level of the characters.
