It's Alec Trio Tuesday, Everyone!

I feel like I should know who this is with Alec and Josh. Maybe someone to do with the interview that day? I recognize Alec's favorite shirt and hoodie as part of a few photos, but that could be wrong because ALEC.

This looks like it is taken during or directly after the film since they both are still goc slim and have film hair.

It's Midweek so that means Alec and Josh Wednesday, gente!

This is one of my favorite scenes in a film full of them.

Just the intimacy and humor here and how far Johnny had to go to be able to just have this with Gheorghe: a joking conversation, nude in bed, chatting after, as one does.

The vulnerability and chemistry and beauty of them is just outstanding, every time.

Here We Are At Alec Trio Tuesday, All!

This is actually a trio squared as part of the cast of God's Own Country pose with Alec, Josh, and Francis.

I did look for the cast’s names because I have seen this group in red carpets and at awards. I did mot have much luck as IMDB doesn’t post crew photos with the consistency they do actors and sometimes directors.

It's gotten really late for me or I would have searched harder.

So please enjoy this group of amazing humans that made GOC so amazing and I'll see you all tomorrow!

Merry Alec Fanart Appreciation Sunday!

This composition is from artist @mattlyon , I believe. I say I believe BECAUSE, in a failure of librarianship, I thought I had saved the link to that page, but did not. However, from looking at the artist's body of work, I am pretty confident this is his.

It, like most of his pieces, has a definite Peter Max vibe to it; the artist that created The Beatles iconic Yellow Submarine artwork. Lyon mentions working in the digital medium but this for all the world looks like a painted piece. Maybe the brushstrokes in the underpainting are a done digitally, but it looks damn hard!

I love how this is the essence of Gheorghe in that scene when he shows Yorkshire to Johnny and the pastoral vista unfolds before them like a brilliant quilt. Gheorghe's expression is everything in that scene because, ultimately, Johnny watches the horizon and you can see realization come up on his face, of the beauty he'd been bypassing, but Gheorghe? After this scene, he's watching Johnny, and for the same reason.
