Violet had just woken up with a hangover. She was at her friend’s house, and they had drank quite a lot, but Violet had to get home by 11 am. As she walked down the sidewalk, she pulled out her cigarettes and lit one. She finally stood outside the gates of her home, and saw her parent's car was gone. She walked into the home, and walked to the kitchen. She saw Tate was there, eating a bowl of cereal. She walked past him, and grabbed a glass of water before quickly trying to escape up to her room. "Good morning Tate," she said, as she passed by her brother.Â
