From the project I’m getting back to - Persephone as the goddess child and as queen of the underworld.
Tonight, as I entered my temporary room, I looked into the mirror as I shut the door. As my reflection stared back I noticed something. Something within me. I have never been one to view myself as a beautiful, strong and powerful woman. Yet tonight, it seemed different. I looked different. I viewed myself differently. As I stared into my green-hazel eyes a soft whisper sung through my mind, "Goddess child..." A flame, a light, a power once hidden by the dark has been lit and now grows fiercely within me. Contained and self-controlled, I am empowered by the love and light of Goddess. I am beautiful. I am strong. I am Goddess child.
