The dragon’s gaze at the back of his head had the man hesitating for a moment before he joined the goddess alone. Surely there was nothing to worry about? She likely had something important to tell him - even though he may not properly remember it in time. 

“Is something the matter, my lady?” he asked, ignoring the strange sensation in his mind when the door was closed and the two of them were left alone together. Sinh had told him to never acknowledge it. That there was a reason for the pact, besides the usual affair.

He smiled, hoping to ease his own tension, and calmly motioned for Furiae to sit next to him. Whatever her intentions, he hoped to help.
