He was in trouble. He'd spotted Zachary, his ex, standing all the way at the back of the crowd during his band's set, amd they'd made accidental eye contact, and now that the set was over he wanted to just disappear. So of course, he ran. Now, maybe trying to outrun a vampire wasn't the brightest idea, but what else could he do? He owed the guy money, the guy owed him the potential he used to have, before the drugs. All in all, a crap situation.
He knew Zak had seen him make a run for it, and he knew Zak would follow - that one was relentless. But he was counting on the crowd as a shield of sorts, and maybe it worked? He didn't really have time to look back and check. Instead, he tried the first door he found, and upon finding it unlocked, quickly went into whatever was on the other side, and slammed the door behind him. He then sloshed to the floor and took a moment to breathe, back against the door as if to guard it. Then, of course, he actually took the moment to notice he had totally just burst into an occupied room. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry, I swear- my ex, asshole, I'm just trying to hide from him until he gets bored and leaves," he tried to explain, rushing the words out, clearly in a Situation about it.
