♖; I simply exist alone. | event }
Heavy sigh slips from trembling lips, silently cursing the fate that has befallen upon the inhabitants of this city. Cold trespassing easily cloth and steel alike, enabling mobility that before has been restrained already by her selection of attire. Casca presses on, every ounce of willpower poured on moving as fast as her armour permitted her limbs to proceed.
A single thought guides her in this path of cruelty that has barely maintained intact that necessity of reaching out for someone. She has to reunite with her comrades, she can't allow them to be alone, not in this moment, not now when danger sweeps every corner.
'...I can't die here.'
Mainly for that stupid man...Hah, the mere idea of him being in danger sounded almost insulting but he has been reckless before--
--!!!!
A thunderous roar refrains her from stepping further, it is out of impulse to draw out her wooden sword even when acknowledging it would not inflict harm to whatever imposed a threat. Colossal figure shadows the Hawk's leader smaller frame, shaking the floor beneath. A monster of immense magnitude built out of ice motioned toward her, having yet to recognize among the blizzard the woman who was being buried under the snow.
Creatures have been faced in the past, not confronted directly but a close sight sufficed to trigger memories of a previous occurrence that nowadays continued deeply embed in her mind. Lips part again but they cannot conjure any coherent sentence. Fear is evoked with the mere encounter of both beast and human, whilst one devoid of emotion other intended to hide away distress.
'Why does that guy...always has to fight...? It's enough, sometimes it's better to escape...' A good moment to think about such words once uttered in between cries of desperation, helpless instance that she was reduced to nothing and again she can barely grip properly her own weapon, this substitute for a blade was but a mere joke that was pointed toward the giant.
It is useless, isn't it?
