People have done a lot of wrong things that has made friendship more complicated than I think it should be. A friend should be like this, a friend should be like that. Just because I gave you my number does not mean I already consider you one. Just because we went out three times a week does not mean I consider you to be. And a lot more things of what and how a friend is or not and should be.

They say I underestimate the meaning of friendship because I have a lot of friends. Maybe so because a little affection someone gives me is enough criteria for me to call that someone a friend. Maybe so but the truth is in these world where there are billions of humans, where people are too busy to make human contact, someone, like you, took the time to know my name, read my words, talk to me once in a while considering I don't have anything to offer in return.

Why do I have to set standards too high people can't reach if there is someone who made, no matter how little, an effort to be a part of my life?

You are a friend. You are my friend.

sa mga ganitong pagkakataon, ramdam ko talaga na ang bata ko pa eh. haha! joke lang te je, medyo lang naman.

anyway, gusto ko lang naman bumati ng happy birthday! at siguradong sigurado naman akong happy yan, dahil sa pailya mo at sa bagong trabaho mo na ibig sabihin ay manlilibre ka na talaga. sana lang, magkita kita ulit tayo. at sana kasama na yung iba. badtrip kasi last time, ako lang yung sumalo ng kahihiyan eh. haha. pero masaya naman! pansin mo ba, hindi kita binati nung nagpunta ako sainyo, kasi ngayon palang ako babati. tinamad ako bumati nung sabado eh. haha.

salamat narin pala, hindi lang sa pagpapakain mo sakin nung sabado kahit diet ako, kundi sa pakikinig sa mga kwento kong ako ang bida palagi at pagtiyatiyaga sa kabaliwan ko. alam mo ba, ikaw ang may pinakamaraming message sa inbox ng tumblr ko? haha. puro ka kasi fanmail eh, langya, alam mong ayaw ko nun dahil ang bagal nun. haha. pero salamat parin. kasi kahit walang sense ang sinasabi ko nagrereply ka parin. at kahit mas madrama pa ko sayo, patol ka naman ng patol.

ayoko nang pahabain kasi masyado nang mahaba kapag pinahaba ko kaya konting haba lang para hindi masyadong mahaba. maghahappy birthday lang ako sayo, at advanced happy birthday narin para sa next year. o ayan ha, ako unang bumati para sa next year mo. manlibre ka na! :)

Anyway, alin man sa dalawang 'yan, ganoon tayo unang nagkausap. Hahaha. At simula noon, palagi mo na akong pinapangiti sa pamamagitan ng iyong mga napakalambing na mga mensahe. Hindi ko man madalas sabihin pero nais kong malaman mong sadyang nagagalak ng husto ang aking puso sa tuwing nakakabasa ako ng mga mensaheng kagaya ng mga ipinapadala mo sa akin.

Anak, sana ay naging masaya ang iyong araw. Naway napuno ng saya ang iyong puso. At hayaan mo sanang sa liham kong ito ay madagdagan pa ang kasiyahan mong iyon. Ilang taon ka na nga pala? Ah. Oo. Mas matanda ka sa akin. Haha. Pero sabi mo, kahit ganon, ako pa rin ang nanay mo. At hindi ako magrereklamo dun. Ang ganda ng anak ko, magrereklamo pa ba ako? :')
