Godspoke
Your heroes wear carbon fiber suits and capes? That’s cool and all, but mine wear flannel, Carhartts, denim, and boots. They also hide in shadows, motels and on roads, but are so badass that even their biggest bad of all likes that they challenge him. Not my gif.
Now that it’s been revealed God is the main puppet master behind a good number of events in the SPN-verse (SPOILER), the angel blade’s nature has always been suspicious, if you really think about it. They were all created/touched by God, so why would he create something that would kill other angels? But the real purpose of this post is that this is the coolest blade/dagger/knife in all of fictional medium, books, movies, games, TV, etc. Looking to add a prop of it to a memorabilia collection; I think a real replica would be way cool, but regardless, can’t have a Supernatural memorabilia collection without this cosmically awesome blade! Not my gif.
God and The Empty
Although we’ll find out soon enough, I’m still on the edge of my seat wondering how Chuck can toy with The Empty despite its ruler saying he has no power there. In addition to him effortlessly bringing Lilith back, he himself said he’s lost count of how much he’s rebuilt Castiel. I’ve theorized perhaps it requires a lot of nephilim grace/DNA, as Jack’s was required in Nick’s attempt to resurrect Lucifer. So maybe Chuck kept the grace of nephilim, as it’s said he killed the ones that roamed Earth eons ago. Or as a writer, perhaps it’s all his own construct. I’m hoping no serious plotholes occur, and am aching for the show to return so we find some answers! But also still heartbroken that this is truly the end.
So I’ve heard J2 and company say they wouldn’t mind doing more seasons if they were shorter. Honestly, I’d love to have 10/12-episode seasons, because it’s not the amount of episodes in a season, it’s the direction and writing that truly counts. There’s quite a bit of shows I like with only 10-episode seasons that work out just fine that way. We shouldn’t be selfish, they’ve given 15 years of their lives for us, sacrificing time with family and other projects for 16-23-episode seasons, when they really don’t have to be that long. Plus, there’s still a lot of folklore they could explore. One that’s gained my personal interest are ningens, a sea creature. More sea adventures would be super cool, in my opinion. Also aliens. I don’t know how other fellow fans feel about the series going sci-fi, but out of everything they’ve explored, I’m still shocked they haven’t touched on aliens yet. But maybe this is me not wanting to let go, or the part of me that REALLY loves adventure and I just want to see how the show would handle different kinds of adventures in different lights. Anything is possible in Supernatural, and God himself said nothing ever really ends. But I’ve made peace with this being the end of the road. Not my gif.
