falls asleep on the couch: I think Jackie would fall asleepon the couch a lot, though it’d be so cute if she came home and he was kind ofall tucked into her couch and just kind of snoozing away on a warm summers dayand he’d probably be so comfortable he doesn’t realize she’s home until he doesin fact wake up and kind of scrambles to his feet and Jackie just shakes herhead and ushers him back to sleep with a promise to wake him up when dinner wasready. And by dinner I probably mean it’s gonna be charred black or she orderedtake out or she got lucky and actually made something right for the first timein forever it’s a miracle in itself.
makes friends with the neighbors: Carm would tbh becausewhile Jackie does like to be friendly with most people, she’s not entirely thekind that you’ll find being the village sweetheart, since she does like to keepto herself sometimes and I feel like Carmichael is that boy next door kind ofguy who will charm all the ladies in the area from the little girl who hidesbehind her momma’s skirt when he comes by Jackie’s place or that grandma andmom who sighs dreamily when he waves at them being all nice and polite andprobably coming by with bread from the bakery or something and they eventuallypoke Jackie about him and whether or not there’s anything special and shestares at them in dead silence while a flush creeps up her cheeks and shebounces back into her house and slams the door close because whaaaaaat justhappened????
is the adventurous eater: Jackie I think, though I do seeCarm trying a ton of new things and being happy to try most anything. I thinkwhat Jackie would have some reservations on, he would get to convincing her totry it if he tried it and what she didn’t like he’d probably end up chucklingat her for it because she’d make the funniest faces and try to drink a lot ofwater to get the taste out and I think they might have varied tastes tbh butshe’d end up just pouting at him and hiding her face in her hands while heapologized to her but really he cant help the smile on his lips she can be veryamusing
hogs the covers at night: I don’t know exactly how Carmwould sleep but in my head he’s the kind of guy that would cuddle her a ton inhis arms or she would be the one cuddling up to him and she’d probably hog allthe covers from him until she’s a bundle of fabric but then it wouldn’t be sobad because they’re lying pretty close together as it is so it’s already warm andshe’s probably half entwined with him and he’s just got an arm wrapped aroundher and oh wow this is so cute these two would be cute together tbh. Thoughplatonic relationship or romantic, Jackie is hogging those covers and mightfall off the bed in the process oops so he really does kinda have to keep ahand hold on her throughout the night gomen Carm T.T
forgets to do the dishes: I think they’d split the choreshalfway and do most of the work together but on some days, I think Jackie wouldforget to do the dishes because she’s probably distracted by her music or she’sreally tired or has fallen asleep on the table when she was supposed to beresting before tackling it but he kind of comes home and does it anyway, andthen either picks her up to bring her to bed or just ruffles her hair as hepasses by her and she’ll only realize it later on and give him a quiet thankyou and she’s embarrassed because he shouldn’t have to be picking up after herbut I think he’d kind of just shake his head and tell her not to worry toomuch.
tries to surprise their partner more often: Both??? ThoughJackie would love to spoil him, to be honest. Like Carm strikes me as the typeof guy who would be very happy to receive anything no matter how little it maybe and he just lights up when he gets something nice and Jackie just feelsreally happy when she sees his reaction so she’d keep an eye out for smallthings that might catch his interest and just kind of give it to him quietly orslip it in one of his bags or something. On the same token, he’d probably bethe kind of person that would know what she’d like – like she appreciatesbeautiful things, no matter what it is – and he’d probably go out and get hersmall tokens too like keychains or pendants or pretty rocks that glimmer likecrystals and he’d hand them to her with a small smile that’s like – ‘I thoughtyou might like it’ – and she’d be so happy she’d be grinning so brightly andgiggling and tackle him in a hug and she puts all his little tokens away into areally precious box that she likes to look into when she needs a laugh.
leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Jackie would mostlybecause I don’t see Carm doing anything that would be too dirty besides maybelaying a stray jacket or shirt on a chair or something if he was going to dosomething with it and forgot about it. But Jackie really is the type of girlthat when she gets home she wants to be as comfy as possible so that might meanstripping in the hallway if she’s alone and running into the bath where she’dnormally go back to clean up afterwards when she wasn’t feeling like she wasall constrained and stuff but she’d come back to find that Carm cleaned upsometimes and its another thing where she’ll flush and feel like a child andapologize and she’ll be a hell of a lot more self aware next time but sometimesshe’ll still slip up but he doesn’t mind too much at times because other thanthose lapses, she cleans up after herself pretty well.
stays up til 2 AM reading: Carm I think – and then somenight, Jackie would join him. Like I see these two just sitting in bed andreading and it’s really quiet and the window is open so there’s a nice breezeand at some point, Jackie’s head flops on his shoulder because she’s fallenasleep because she’s warm and comfy where she is next to him and she ends upcuddling into her arm tbh and he just moves around a bit and holds her closeand then goes back to reading while she sleeps in his arms.
sings in the shower: I think Carm has a nice singing voice,like I really do?? A low voice that kind of sends chills up your spine with theintensity if he actually really sings and he hums a lot in the bath and if hereally likes a song he’ll end up singing it and getting into it and when heopens the door – Jackie is outside and smiling at him and ends up complimentinghim and he might start blushing because he’s really embarrassed about it buthonestly she was captivated and his voice is really nice and sounds lovely andsometimes she’ll ask him to sing something for her while they’re in bed and hehums something a little softly and its just really soft and calming and shefalls asleep with a smile on her face because of it.
takes the selfies: Jackie would I think, though I think Carmwould like to take more photos of the sceneries and her rather than of himselfbut on rare occasions he’d quietly ask her for a selfie of them both and she’dbe really happy because usually its her tugging him into the shots and I feellike he’d really like them, like he’d take them and print a few and keep themin his wallet or in his room and sometimes just smile and treasure it a lotthis is so cute
plans date night: Both of them. And they probably wouldn’t evenreally need to plan it, like I feel like they’d just know what they’d want todo and when and they’d just go out no questions asked. And I think that Carmwould attempt to plan some really nice dates for them both like if they were togo to a nice restaurant or a walk along the beach and he’d get her flowers or agift for those days and it’d be really important that it all went well but they’deven have those nights where they’d both just go out for dinner at the local dinerand eat pancakes and bacon and hang out by the river side or the park justtalking and star gazing or something and this is so cute omg this is adorable Ilike it
