A smirk graced the huntsmans’ lips as he leaned into the gentle kiss, crimson eyes focused on the headmaster as he swats him away playfully. “You send me on the easiest missions sometimes, Oz. You losin’ your touch around me since last week when I gave you a night to remember?”

       It  was  apparent  that  the  butting  heads   between  Nora  and  the  General  Ironwood  had   reached   the  ears  of   the  rest   of  their  gang  .   Familiar  eyes   would   gaze   at   her  with  concern  and   pity   and     those   looks   would  only    intensify    further   as   they  realized  that  both   her   and   the   quiet   member   of   team   JNR    would   give  each   other   cold   shoulders.        --- and     no    one    dared    to   question   why .

        It   was   clearly   ironic   for   Nora   to  say   but   all  that   is   happening   is   not     what   penny  had   told   them   it’s  going  to be.      ----   This   is   not   like   beacon   at   all  ,  none   of  it was   similar   of   beacon’s    and    if   she   stayed   further   in  this    suffocating  place  ,  she   would   gag   and   snap   ,   she   have   to   do  something  ,   something   that   would   keep  her  sane   from  all    the  stress   she   had  feeling.      -- And    for    once   in  her  life  ,  she   wanted     isolation   to   be    her  company.

           A   new    day   was   about   to  arrive   ,    and   Nora   found  herself   sitting   on   the  edge  of  one   of   the   isolated   terraces   of   the  Atlas  Academy,  that  overlooks  all  over   mantle .     Her  legs  dangling   dangerously  at  the  edge  ,   as   it   sways  back  and  forth ;   her  eyes  were  closed ,  only  to  slowly  open ;      when   she   sensed     someone   arrived  ,   of   course  she  knew   who   it   was  ,   It   wasn’t    who   she   wanted   but    it’s   better   than  nothing,   it   was   still   their    leader   after  all ,   and   surprisingly  for   Nora  ,   Jaune   was   a    great   listener   whenever   she  needed   someone  to  talk     to   he   was   the   one   who   was  always   there   (  Ren  usually   just  used  his  semblance   to  her  when  this  things  happens) .        Tilting   her   head   to  get   a glimpse   of    the   newcomer   approaching  ,  her   expectations   had   lead   into   a  disappointment.   There    were   no  blond   around  ,   no   goofy ,  annoying    concerned   voice   that   questions   her ,  where   she   had   been   all  this   night?  ;   Instead   what   nora   gets   was   the    farm  boy   who      shares    the   same  soul   and   body   of   their   former   headmaster  ,   who  supposed   to   be   their     guide     and    helper    through     all   of  this. 

                    Clearly    Nora   wasn’t    in   the  mood   to   baby  sit   him  either. 

            ❝   Kids    shouldn’t   be    up    this   early   you   know  ;   it   would  hinder  with   your  growth   process  ,   don’t   blame   me   if   you   ended  up   remaining  small  forever. ❞   Nora   stated   in  a   joking   manner   but   her   words   came  out  flatly and   serious   thus   making  her   think   that   just   drop   the   act  already   and   just   be   direct   to  the  point

Ren immediately pulled out his scroll, having holstered one of StormFlower in order to do so. “This is Lie Ren, we need backup, now.” He said immediately, with urgency in his tone.

He’d had enough. 

Ozma tried not to make a habit of speaking up or taking control when it wasn’t required. Especially this early in a merge, however there were times where it simply couldn’t be avoided and this was one of those times. He could stand them turning against him, even with his chest aching and all of his old, most intimate pains, laid bare. He could bite his tongue when they chased Ozpin into the depths of their mind. However, when they began to turn on Oscar- a child!- he could stand and watch no more. 

Still, he kept his temper in check and waited until the rest of their group went to sleep before making his move. He’d slipped from houses that were keeping a much closer eye on him before, so it was almost tragically easy to slip out when everyone was making a point to stay away. The greatest challenge came from retrieving the relic, but he’d done much more complicated spells then levitating a lamp from a sleeping child’s belt. 

With patience, and magic- because while he was angry he wouldn’t leave them totally unprotected in his wake- he was out the door and nearly out of view when he realized he’d never actually asked. 

“Ozpin, say the word and we’ll go. We’ll be halfway to Atlas before they even realize we’re gone.” Assuming that they left in the morning, or so much as bothered to check after Oscar.

the dragon gingerly poked at the casserole left behind by jaune’s admirers with the handle of a fork, scrunching up their nose at the dubious smell. ren hadn’t been in atlas long enough to know about atlesian spices, but this just wasn’t sitting right with them. they looked over to oscar with a knowing expression, raising an eyebrow.   ‘   do you think you can fix this   ?   ’   oscar was the only other member of their troupe they could trust alone in the kitchen, someone they were glad had more expertise than expertly preparing instant noodles or cereal. he might have been from a different region of mistral, but they knew the same ingredients, and the casserole that oscar prepared in argus made this one look awful in comparison.   ‘   to be blunt, the both of us could make a better one blindfolded.   ’   @godtoyed​   :   starter call.
