I wonder if part of the reason Shimo exists is to act as a replacement just in case WB loses the rights to use Godzilla for their films. Another big, dinosaur-like creature that is best buds with Kong, but is also distinct enough design wise not to infringe on the Godzilla copyright.

I'm not sure if this would make sense, I think Shimo would need to have first appeared in a film that doesn't also feature Big G for this to work, but the question remains;

If Toho withheld the Godzilla license would the Monsterverse continue without him?

I don't really understand what Monarch's raison d'être is aside from being a mysterious government agency. They collect information on giant monsters and only to heavily redact/destroy it so that when Godzilla and co. inevitably breach containment (has any monster been successfully prevented from escaping?) they just tell officials to trust their judgment.

This would make a bit of sense if these monsters were all government accidents and experiments, but every single critter seems to be a naturally occurring lifeform that's been here the entire time. This is like if the discovery of dinosaurs was kept secret for some reason. Wouldn't it be better for the populace to know these things exist so they can know how to live alongside them?

Does the Titan alpha pecking order hierarchy system extend out into outer space? Is the Monsterverse Earth just another island in a galaxy-wide king of the hill game played by life forms large and powerful enough to lay claim to an entire planet? King Ghidorah seems to to be the only one seen so far capable of interplanetary travel somehow, but where there any naturally occurring earth life-form that could fly through space and isn't around because they left?

I saw your Showa Mechagodzilla/Kiryu and it got me interested in what would a SpaceGodzilla Kiryu look like? If Humanity somehow got their hands onto the Crystalline Skeleton of SpaceGodzilla what could they do with it?

Hello! Your version of Bagan is much cuter and different from the original design. (Your variants of Bagan) did you change the facial features yourself or are there sources I can follow?

Gigan is a cyborg, so a bit robotic and a bit organic.

It seems the story goes that Gigan was a ‘space dinosaur’ that was given robotic enhancements, though as a big fan of the Gigan Species Alternate Homeworld site back in the early 2000′s, I prefer the idea of Gigan being born a cyborg. Maybe even created in a techno-organic factory that makes Gigans for every civic need and use ages ago, before the Space Roaches used him as a war machine.
