Amazing places to visit in Frankfurt

Frankfurt is the largest city in the Hesse state of Germany. Frankfurt is famous worldwide for its combination of modern and classic architecture around the city. This city is enriched with natural scenic beauty and historical places. The area of the city is 95.87 sq mi and population is 701,350. Frankfurt is known as the largest financial centre in continental Europe, it’s also counted of the best financial place among the world. This city is having one of the world’s largest stock exchanges in it and it proudly manages Europe’s most renowned trade fairs, exhibition and car show. 

There are so many places in Frankfurt to visit, filled with natural beauties and historical museums . some of them are described below. 

• Old Jewish Cemetery

 There are original tombstones in this cemetery’s are from 13th to 18th century. Surviving from the bombings of Nazi’s, many of them are still recognizable. The western wall of the cemetery is known as Wand der Namen for its design of metal cubes having the name of 11,000 Frankfurt Jews those died in Holocaust. 

• Frankfurter Dom

This historical 95m Gothic tower was started its structural work in 1400 and finished in 1860. This place is one of the best calm visiting places surrounded by the historical elements. There are some concerts going on here. Also some precious liturgical objects in the display.

 • Romer

 This beautiful place is having three buildings from 15th century. This house is now used as the Frankfurt’s mayor office. It is a nice place for visiting and having the view of old times. 

• Goethe-Haus

This place is the birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Now here a collection of 18th century paintings is represented for the visitor. 

• Judisches Museum
