Hello I am Mohammad Taysir, 34 years old, Palestinian living in Gaza. I am married to Basma Ramez, and we have two children: Jude, who is 4 years old, and yazan, who is 2 and a half years old.

Our life was normal and full of optimism, and we had big ambitions.I worked in smartphone programming at City Phone. I was happy with my job, and our dreams were focused on building a bright and beautiful future for our children. We had a large, beautiful home that sheltered us, full of many wonderful memories.

But suddenly, without any warning, war destroyed everything beautiful in our lives. Our home was demolished by a missile, leaving nothing behind, and my company was also damaged. I lost my job, and we became homeless and without income.

We tried to flee more than five times to safer areas in search of security, but safety in Gaza has become nearly impossible. Death and destruction are everywhere, and our children live in a constant nightmare. Opportunities for education and entertainment have vanished, and basic necessities are scarce. We live in poverty and despair.

My family consists of seven members: my mother Iman (49 years old), my father Ahmed (54 years old), and my brothers Mohammed (14 years old), Nader (17 years old), and Omar (21 years old).

Due to the devastating war in the Gaza Strip, our homes were completely destroyed and became uninhabitable. We were forced to flee to the south, and we are searching for safety, as we were displaced more than 9 times, suffering from harsh conditions. We suffer from severe shortages of water and food, and my daughter suffers from malnutrition due to the high prices of food and its scarcity, in addition to the closure of the crossings and the ongoing siege.

I used to work as a car technician, but my workplace was completely destroyed. We are now in dire need of collecting donations to finance our travel to a safe country. The cost of travel is between $6000 and $7000, which is a huge amount that we cannot afford.

From the very beginning, our mission has been to provide a reliable, fair, and ongoing verification service, addressing one of the biggest challenges facing donation campaigns: verifying the accuracy and credibility of their information.

Clarifying Our Flagging System

Recently, we have noticed some confusion regarding the statuses we use when we flag a campaign.

We would like to clarify what each term means and prevent any further misunderstandings.

1. Spam / Bot

*Spam refers to unwanted or repetitive messages that are irrelevant, annoying, or purely promotional (such as random comments or direct messages).

*Bot refers to an automated account, not a real person that posts or sends messages using scripts or automated tools.

Many spam messages originate from such bot accounts.

When a campaign or account is flagged as Spam/Bot, it means we have detected patterns of automated or repetitive behavior that may disrupt or mislead the community.

2. Scam

A scam involves deception, manipulation, or unfair behavior, whether or not it is technically illegal.

Examples include:

* Providing false or misleading information,

* Extorting others or demanding money in unethical ways,

*Threatening or harassing other blogs or organizers with hate campaigns.

*Forging the verified names in the spreadsheet or manipulating their status.

When a campaign is flagged as a Scam, we issue a warning to everyone to avoid engaging with or donating to that campaign until further notice.

3. Update Needed

This status means the campaign itself is still valid and legitimate, but some information requires correction or renewal.

For example:

*The campaign link no longer works,

*There is duplicate or outdated information,

*The organizer has changed details that need verification.

In such cases, we pause the verification temporarily until the updated details are confirmed.

👉 For any flag not mentioned above, you can contact us to clarify its meaning and level of importance.

We also understand that mistakes can happen, and from our side, we believe every campaign deserves a second chance once corrections are made and transparency is restored. 💚

Our goal has always been, and will always remain, to protect both donors and organizers alike, and to ensure that help reaches those who truly need it.

When the war in Gaza started, we began moving from one place to another in the north, fleeing the destruction and death 💔💥. One day, in a heart-wrenching moment 💔, I was arrested in front of my children, who watched me being taken away without knowing my fate. I was sent to Sde prison, where I was detained for 45 days. During this difficult time, my family didn’t know if I was alive or if I had been killed 🕊️.

After those agonizing days, I was released with a group of other prisoners through the Kerem Shalom crossing and taken to Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in southern Gaza for treatment after the torture we endured 🏥. I spent five days in the hospital, suffering physically and emotionally 😔.

When I regained consciousness and strength, I found myself in southern Gaza, while my family was still trapped in the north 🛑. I couldn’t reach them or help them as they suffered from extreme poverty, lack of food, and insecurity 🥺🍞. My disabled father and young children were unable to move or escape the continuous bombing 🔥. Meanwhile, I was stuck in the south, completely powerless to help them.

Our home was completely destroyed 🏚️, and we were left homeless. My family is living under unbearable conditions, constantly fleeing from one area to another in northern Gaza to escape the bombings. There is no medicine, no food, and no safe shelter 😢🌍. As for me, I lost my source of income and can no longer provide any financial support for them. As a father, I feel utterly helpless 😞.

My only hope now is to bring my family from the north to the south so we can reunite 💔🙏. However, this is incredibly difficult. My disabled father requires special care and transport, which costs a lot of money 💸. I have tried reaching out to international and humanitarian organizations, but the cost of moving them, especially considering my father’s condition, is extremely high.

After reuniting with my family, my next goal is to register them for travel to a safe place outside Gaza through the Rafah crossing. But the high coordination fees, which range between €5000-€7000 per person, make this nearly impossible for me 🛫. I need your support to help save my family from this nightmare.

All I ask for is a chance to save their lives, to bring them to safety far from this daily nightmare we are living. We are losing hope 😔, but I still believe there are people out there who can help us 🤲.

My name is Mahmoud Al-Masri, I’m 22 years old, from the Gaza Strip. I’m a passionate Graphic Designer and artist, working hard to grow my skills and one day become a senior artist.

Before the war, I was a top student at the University College of Applied Sciences — achieving a 92.2% average in my first semester and 91.2% in my second. Alongside my degree, I was also training for a Graphic Design diploma. Unfortunately, my studies were interrupted when the war destroyed universities, colleges, and training centers across Gaza.

On October 7, 2023, my family and I were displaced eight times and had to live in a tent for a period of time. Life during displacement was a daily struggle for food, water, and safety. Now, I have returned home — but my education is still on hold, and I continue to face the challenges of rebuilding my path.

While my dream is to continue my education abroad in the future, my current focus is on developing my artistic skills, producing creative works, and inspiring others through my designs and illustrations.
