art fight for @gogglebeast
Some Julians for @gogglebeast !! And a happy belated birthday to Julian! I can't believe a whole year has passed since his last birthday already!!
(I couldn't decide which background looked better so you get both of them >:3c )
A vicious art fight attack on my pal Gogglebeast
Colored commission for @gogglebeast! Thank you so so much again!!
We have different thoughts ‘bout Bendy @snackiies Based on @gogglebeast’s post
(gentle wave) Hey there from a new follower who just wanted to say your videos are EXTREMELY entertaining to watch, and your commitment to taunting the Ink Demon is an inspiration! |Da He is WAY too smart for his own good sometimes, dear lord. (Also I'm laughing because I also just ran into the 'Bendy gets his big idiot head caught on the board above the stairs and is Stuck' glitch last night in the same spot you did?? Terrifying, but an opportunity for taunting too good to pass up!)
Oh goodness, thank you! :D As scared of him as I am, he is tremendously fun to taunt and try to trap. And yeah, his AI can be pretty frightening at times, especially now that he can climb barrels. And turns out, that beam he gets his horns caught on isn’t a glitch! It’s actually to keep him from following you to level 9. But Mike and Meatly never imagined people bringing him to 9 in the elevator like I did haha.
(Kickass Ink Bendy costume you have btw!!)
I was going to post in order but I’m really happy with how this came out. ;3;
@gogglebeast I love your character designs. So much.
JUMPS INTO YOUR ASKBOX 19, 24, 28, 34 and 35! (If this is too many at once feel free to pick and choose!)
19. where do you find inspiration?
everywhere! in particular I find my peers work super inspiring and love scrolling through art on the socials :) I’m also really inspired by nature/animals, animated shows/movies and video games
24. whats a compliment about your art that has always stuck with you?
honestly I’m most proud of my general use of shapes and colours, so anytime anyone recognizes that I’m :) I think my lines and shapes have generally been a big part of my work and I love how much that’s carried through till now :)
28. whats a piece you would like to redraw at some point?
there’s not much that I’d like to revisit specifically, but maybe I might take a stab at this again sometime. I think I could execute it way better today:
34. whats something you still like from your old art?
I really like that I wasn’t afraid of things looking a bit janky and that I tried to push different poses a bit more. Nowadays my priorities are slightly different and I’m often not too interested in struggling with a piece for a long time (simply because I don’t have the time to do so) so I tend to stick to safer ideas that I have the capacity to more easily execute. I also love how much traditional art I used to do!
35. if you had one piece of advice to give your younger artist self, what would it be?
Make more connections with your community while you have the chance! I have a whole bunch of artist friends that I’ve kept in touch with + followed across platforms and I’m so lucky to have kept those relationships, but I wish I had been less shy in artist groups when I was younger. The community experience of classic deviantart was honestly super special and modern social media isn’t the same, sadly :( anyway. I really cherish the friends I have that live inside my computer and I’m >:( we don’t live closer
