I will say this, if you were 1 of the people running around calling George an SAer and a "pedo" during the gogtuation, then posting fanfics about him again with the only excuse being you have "mixed feelings" about him I think you're 1 of the worst people alive.

Okay now that we're all settled down after the video, can I just say a quick fuck the Brighton group for trying to spread around the rumor that Dream enabled the situation with Caiti when it became very obvious right from the beginning from Ghostie, Caiti, and George's own statements Dream was in the dark about the entire situation.

Like he even tried to reach out to Ghostie and Caiti and wasn't told shit because according to them "HE didn't do it, but George did." Like he tried to get clarification, tried to resolve the situation, tried to talk, and tried to actually find out if anything has happened. How is that enabling? That's like, the opposite of enabling!

It's so fucking obvious that the Brighton group used that excuse as justification to continue hating on Dream when it became clear to them that their excuse of it being Dream bringing Caiti to his hotel room (as revealed by the coullion Average as fuck Harry) wasn't true.

And what's worst is that we know they won't apologize. They built their entire careers being "morally better then the Dream team" so the idea of them having to apologize and admit they were wrong could damage their careers. And that's so fucked up that they built their careers on such flimsy pedestals that even admitting they were wrong could topple anything. And it's nothing but their faults for this.

Fuck the Brighton group for making this whole situation a hell of a lot worst then it actually was. Fuck them for making Caiti's situation worst because I already see a ton of youtube videos calling her out and calling her a liar and claiming she's not a victim. Fuck them for being nice to George's face and yet apparently knowing about this situation, bunch of clout chasing snakes.

I honestly think that was the best response we've gotten. George explained why it happened, how he didn't even consider a power imbalance, or even knew her age. But still takes time apologizing for her hurt and pain.

Also fuck those CCs who pretended to be all buddy buddy to him even after knowing these accusations and only after Caiti spoke out did they drop him. Performative clout chasing assholes.

The fact that I believed we all moved on from the Bugzz situation but I'm seeing people on twitter have breakdowns over Sapnap deleting the tweet (keep in mind he wasn't even involved in the situation in the first place) tells me really how performative people on both sides took the gogtuation.

Okay this ask took me a while to respond because I wanted to make sure I didn't accidentally say anything wrong. I believe the whole situation was a night of simple drunken miscommunication way overblown.

George did mess up by not asking Caiti a yes or no question of if she was okay with it. But at the same time as revealed by Caiti in her second response she did feel like putting up with it for clout, so honestly I feel like if he did ask she would've said yes. But at the very least if he did ask it would have been the correct thing to do and it wouldn't have gotten as big as it did because he would have gotten explicit consent.

Caiti, I feel for her. It sucks regretting what happens to you and I genuinely hope she gets therapy and some actual good friends who are there for her. But I will not get over the fact that she lied and exaggerated many details of the story to make it sound worst in the first story, only to backtrack on a lot of things (claiming Dream and George forced her to drink, that she was frozen on the seat and didn't move, that she was playing games on her phone to distract herself) and that's... iffy to me.

I've said this before, but victims don't lie or exaggerate. Coupled with the fact that she then had donos/subs on during her streams and didn't watch George's responses only to accuse him of "not addressing" stuff he actually did own up to and apologized about. And yeah.

Like I'm glad she deleted her vods and went priv for a bit, maybe that could be her trying to move on past this. But this all could have been avoided if she just tried to reach out privately. And it could have! Dream literally reached out to her and Ghostie asking about the situation because BelowAverageH*rry tried to use her accusation before her as a gotcha! But they didn't for some reason, and lied to him about it.

It sucks because it's pretty obvious Caiti went through some shit before the situation. The fact she assumed George was maliciously hurting her and she came to the conclusion that she had to put up with it to get big is upsetting. I mean it when I say I hope she gets the therapy she needs... and good friends.

I think why I am so furious right now is because I got SAed by a grown man when I was 10. I had no opportunity to escape and no one supported me when I came out with it.

So seeing Caiti use the language of what I've been through, claim this whole thing was just to "dismantle blind idolization", try to shame people who wanted evidence and looked at it objectively, and then such an awful thing to say about victims.

I feel used.
