Given he was nearing nineteen, being called a KID sort of caused Gohan to raise an eyebrow. “Uh huh. Whatever you say.” oh the sarcasm couldn’t be thicker on his voice if Gohan tried.

Well technically, he was an ancient Saiyan so everyone was his junior. Though he wasn’t sure what age he was, he was pretty sure it was around the same age as him. However, he still saw every version of Gohan he came across as the same crybaby kid he trained and babysat in what felt like so long ago.
