i love the trope where everyone thinks character B is obsessed with character A because A is insanely popular and B isn't, but in reality it's the opposite. A has everyone drooling over them and acts all nice but on the inside...the only person they think about is B, and A loves that B is unpopular because B is all theirs!!! nobody looks at B but me!!! and A goes all heart-eyed the second B is in their presence while maintaining composure and hiding how flustered they are over B. A tries to engage and have convo with B as often as they can but everyone thinks that B is the one making moves. bonus if B is oblivious to it, maybe misunderstands A's intention and assumes A is doing all that as a joke. but still completely miserable pining over A
