The sixty-sixth season of Tumblr Survivor is almost here...
...as long as Tumblr Survivor: Jordan Pines hasn’t brought an end to the community yet.
Whether you’re a Survivor fan looking to take part in a new adventure or a returning player in desperate need of another chance, this season is for you. Applications are open to everyone! Tumblr Survivor: Crossroads is looking for a mix of eighteen castaways who are committed and ready to give it their all. If you need redemption, are hungry for a win, or are just looking for a good time, the story is yours to tell!
noun • cross·road • \ ˈkrȯs-ˌrōd also -ˈrōd \
"a point at which a crucial decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences..."
The sixty-sixth season of Tumblr Survivor, hosted by Owen, will give castaways the chance to take matters into their own hands and choose their own pathway to victory. Both newbies and returnees will embark on a journey towards the title of Sole Survivor. Along the way, these adventurers will arrive at various crossroads, requiring them to make choices that will influence tribes, competitions, twists, and powers, shaping the course of the game. Players will have more agency than ever before, and only the one who takes control of their own story will come out on top. But remember - with every decision made comes consequences. Do you have what it takes to write your own Survivor success story?
You can find the application here!
Applications will close on Wednesday, December 6. The game will begin the weekend of December 9.

Interviewed Jessie and her mom, my sister scout and troop mom who made the (iconic) Plastic Bag Monster costume!
(Click for better quality)
Last night I had a super productive meeting with people from a nearby town who are interested in passing a plastic bag “hybrid bill”- a ban on plastic bags and a tax on paper bags. According to a representative there from the Surfrider Organization, this is the most effective kind of ordinance. This event had members of the town council, community leaders, and even representatives from girl and boy scouts! I was invited, along with two other speakers, to talk about what my troop did in my town as well as briefly about my proposed Gold Award. I made a lot of connections I hope will be useful and generally got really motivated to continue with my project!

I just finished writing questions for my first interview! As of today, I have 8 hours total out of 80. 1/10 of the way there!!
I got my meeting appointment! I’m the first in my troop. I’ll let you know how it goes!
I was approved!
As soon as I walked in, the Girl Scout Elders were very positive and complimentary.
They asked me what research I had done that prompted my interest in my issue, and after I explained my whole schpeil about my five years of experience (which can be read on my blog if you’re interested), they were basically like “well ok that sounds great I guess you’re approved”
This was a pleasant surprise considering I had been told over and over to not be overconfident and be prepared for difficult questions, and overall I’m just over the moon! I’m super excited to really get started on my project!
