This morning's #LATH hike was quite wonderful. Another LATH origin hike is the Rose Bowl trail. It was one of the first few hikes (along with Sturtevant Falls, Whittier's Turnbull Canyon and Echo Mountain) we hiked when the group first started. And, even today, it continues to work its magic with hikers. LIFEGUARD TOWER # (TBA morning of event) Starts at: 8:00 AM Ends at: 9:30 PM Hey LA Trail Hikers, it's time to enjoy a day in the sun at our annual LATH Summer Beach Party on Sunday, August 19, 2018! We'll be taking a day off trails to celebrate the 7th Year Anniversary of the LA Trail Hikers with an all day beach party! This event starts early in the morning for some good swimming/sunbathing, and continues through the night for a great evening with a bonfire. Some hikers spend all day with us, and others come for part of the day or night for a great day of fun! POTLUCK SIGN UP SIGN UP: http://bit.ly/q9bGTB If you'll be bringing anything to the party (food, tarps, chairs, propane BBQ, propane tanks, dogs/burgers/buns, cups, water, soda, etc), then sign up and let us know. It is not required to bring something to attend event. PARKING Remember to come early. Most hikers (and everyone else wanting to go to the beach) desire to come in later in the afternoon only to find that there is no parking (until later in the evening again). So try to get there early so you don't miss out!
