GOLBER
GOLBER! (idea too silly for even my LJ)
I often automatically reverse words as I read. So "reblog," a word I see a lot now online comes out to "golber."
Once upon a time, in World Champion Wrestling, there was Bill Goldberg. He had a long undefeated streak -- in fact, that was maybe the only thing he was good at. (Wrestling fans will understand what I'm talking about, even if normal people don't.)
As he came out to the ring, the fans would chant "GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG!" Being untrained, they didn't really enunciate perfectly, so the "D" and final "G" weren't all that audible.
So in my old tapes, I have plenty of potential audio samples of a whole stadium hollering "GOLBER!" if that ever becomes a popular word.
