Finally received my Golchi “thermos”.

I was a little confused when I open the package to be honest. I remember getting a bold green color bottle. I know colors may differ but, what I got was a teal color. It sure as hell ain’t that bright green color.

There has been quite a number of changes to this bottle and it is not for the better.  It feels like they spent more money on the packaging than the product itself. From afar, this thermo looked pretty okay. Upon closer inspection, the bottle looks worn out and print job is mediocre. 

I filled it with water in its jumbo form and shook it around (sideways). Plus 1 point to that, no leakage. Although, it did feel a little warm to touch near the line/ attachment area. 

I switched it back into its original form and I thought about putting hot water ( 212F base on my home water boiler)on both. Didn’t even bother to ‘wait 5 minutes’ for the water vapor to be gone. Thats dumb. ANyway, weirdly enough, the bottom lid couldn’t even be screwed back on. So I filled the bottom container with cold tap water, and viola! The bottom lid went on somewhat smoothly. Key words: Some what.  

I’m not sure if I want to use this at all right now, base on other backers saying the liquid tasted off and I honestly don’t want to risk my health because the creators were greedy and didn’t give two shits about the backers who help funded the project.

Would I ever get this bottle thermo again? Fuck no. Would I recommend this to a friend or anyone? Fuck no.

what about your two other bottles? Not sure what my parents want to do with it. Its probably going to sit in our garage for a looooooooooong time.

I will update on how long the water stayed hot.
