What's Open During the Break?

It’s time for a well deserved break for our first ever Fall Reading Week. Just in case you’re on campus this week, here’s what is and isn’t open around town.

 It's all under the cut!

FOOD BANK

The Food Bank is open across both campuses all week. Request a food package at http://foodbank.yourstudentsunion.ca

  FOOT PATROL

Foot Patrol closes for the week on Thursday night (Brantford) and Friday night (Waterloo). We’ll reopen Monday, October 20 at regular hours.

  EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM

Emergency Response Team closes it’s doors for the week at 3:00am on Friday night to reopen on the 20th. If you have any emergencies on campus over the break, you can call 519.885.3333

  PEER HELP LINE

The Peer Help Line will close at 3:00am on Friday and reopen on the first day of classes.

  GOLDEN GROUNDS

Golden Grounds will close at 4:00pm on Friday and reopen at 8:00am on Monday, October 20 for your coffee fix on your first day back.

  WILLIAMS

Williams will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. We’ll reopen with regular hours on Monday, October 20 (that’s at 7:30am for you caffeine hounds).

  WILF’S

Wilfs will be open for lunch from Tuesday to Friday of reading week from 11:00am – 3:00pm, so if you’re sick of turkey leftovers, come grab a seagram wrap.

What's Open and What's Not This Summer?

Forget Summer is Coming. Summer is Here. Unless you’re on a co-op term or taking summer classes, in which case you might as well be so north of the Wall you’re one of Craster’s children.

Assuming you’re wandering Westeros with your favourite Khaleesi or assassin-in-training this summer, here’s what’s open and what’s not across campus. You never know when your journey will take you off the beaten path of the Kings Road.

The Food Bank is open all summer long on both campuses. Feast like you’re at the Red Wedding - without any of the unfortunate aftermath. Make a request at http://foodbank.yourstudentsunion.ca

Peer Help Line is closed for the summer. We’ve put together a list of emergency contacts for both cities, should you need it.

Foot Patrol is closed for the summer. Try and find a walking buddy or consider cabbing it if you’re heading out.

William’s in Brantford is open from 730am - 4pm Monday to Friday.

International News in Waterloo is open 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday.

Golden Grounds, Wilf’s, the Turret, the U-Desk and the Terrace are all closed for the summer.

Ready for the Holidays? We Are. Here Are Our Hours for the Next Month

It’s the last day of classes so you know what that means. No, no, not exams. Business operations around campus start changing their hours accordingly. See the full deets under the cut.

WATERLOO

Wilfs to close on Wednesday December 18th, 2013 re-open on Monday January 6th, 2013 at 11 a.m.

On Wednesday December 18th we will close at 9 p.m and re-open Monday January 6 at 11 a.m. 

11 a.m. till 2 a.m. 

Union Desk

Exam hours start December 3. The desk will be open from 8am-4pm. The U-Desk closes for the term December 13 at 4pm

The last day for the Tech Share program is December 6. All returns are due December 9

The desk will reopen Monday, January 6

Students’ Union Offices 

The office closes for the season December 20 at 12pm

We will reopen at regular hours January 6
