The Golden Lance
Lance Sovereign Thackery: The Hitchcocks’ rival. A floater lance noble, very severe, one of the Hitchcocks cut his nose off in a duel. He had a magical purple shiny coat that shocked people when they tried to attack him while wearing it, and spurs on his boots so you could always hear him coming. Dead now I think (??? need to fact check). “the meanest boy” - Austin
Lance Noble Orchid: The first one we meet is Siege’s rival, who he got his gun from. He’s trigger happy and The Worst, died in the wrapup of the Memoriam College heist. The current one is named Rebecca, a human woman who used to be a Font Man and has an awesome sun laser spear as the font men had. Last seen: in her room wearing a cute peach tuxedo with a little bowler.
Lance Noble Iris: A human man, basically an old beat cop one day from retirement. Likes candy. Has been in Marielda since before it was Marielda. Last seen: in the ballroom making himself a drink, not having chosen formalwear.
Lance Noble Quince: An orc, the only orc the six know in town. His real name is Morket Dal (spelling?), Marquis of valleys, lost letters, and the second cool breeze. Big buff orc man. Looks/is the most sherrif-y of the lance nobles, has a cigar and a cowboy hat. Also, a laser katana. Last seen: knocked out by Castille’s ghost electricity in the train to brunch with Samothes
Lance Noble Chrysanthemum: Austin’s initial notes on her: “Cima from Gundam 0083. Blanche + Candela?” Used to be a tea witch!!! “Does magic shit”. Wears a skirt and a short jacket with the lance noble insignia, rather than a long coat like the rest of them. Ali (and all of us, lbr) on Chrysanthemum: Can I date her? Last seen: knocked out by Castille’s ghost electricity in the train to brunch with Samothes.
Lance Noble Helianthus (Hell’s Parish): Goes back quite a bit with Iris. Used to be a super in a few buildings in Helianthus, one day she found a gun and did the right thing with it. Samothes rewarded her by making her a Lance Noble. Grouchy. Stabbed to death by Maelgwyn under the influence of the Knife Of Ill Intent (not the official name, I don’t think it has one)(I love her and miss her alas we barely knew you)
Lance Noble Violet: Stayed behind to mind the metaphorical farm while the rest of the lance nobles went to have brunch with Samothes.
