It doesn’t take a genius to figure out magic, why would you need a liquid to help you?” Matt openly mocked the other, though it was more than known Matt himself was far from perfect in his own studies. The only thing he was good at was making up stupid theories that made Luz’s head hurt.

Hey Pammy, how many siblings do you have now?

"Well, let's see." She hummed contently.

"There's Alvar n' Eleanor, Noel, Goldie, Sunny{Hunter}, Clips, Wasp{Hunter}, Hunter, n' one more but papa and Mimi said I can't meet them for 'nother 7 months still!"

A soft chuckle. Gentle, airy, almost kind as he looked down at the child all but hiding in his robe from the clouds he assumed to be as volatile as they were in their world.

“No need to fret, child. Have faith in your Uncle…I did not lie when I told you this rain will not harm you.”

He heard the first distant rumble of thunder, as lightning illuminated the edges of the clouds and tinged them a bright white, briefly. No more strange colored skies, no red trees. The air on his face wasn’t hot as he stepped out.

“You can follow me, it’s alright.”

    He’s really not. That hurt...those words hurt very badly. Especially to be insulted about something he physically can’t control...

    Hunter gets a shrug in return; right now he just wants to be alone to think. Just process this by himself and then move on.

Another realm to visit. Another world to learn and expand her magic from.

There was something about this place in particular that called to Missi, the magic from it thick enough to feel floating in the air as if she could grasp it. Perhaps that was why it was so easy for her to connect with this place. Normally it would take so much time and effort for her to do so especially with places she has never been but this felt . . . simple. As if there was already a connection of sorts established. Missi certainly would have to look into that later but for now she would explore this new region.

Using her cane as a broomstick she’d stick to the forests and study the magical beasts around her until the sun would set as she found this place’s sunlight is also toxic to her skin. So there she goes, collecting information in a notebook she had brought with her while leisurely sitting on her cane. Without a care in the world she knew not of how much her presnce, and magic, would stand out to the inhabitance of this world as her magic was much more demonic for any kind of humanoid looking creature; it made her stand out very easily among others.

“That would be me, yes.” Goldie looks up from the book she’s reading, one with a lot of information on small magical creatures, and raises her eyebrows when seeing exactly who is talking to her. Looking at him feels incredibly odd and jarring. How and why does he look exactly like her? She doesn’t like it. This is most definitely not Noel. Goldie would recognize her little brother anywhere.

“Who are you and how do you know my brother?”

The Golden Guard has Entered the Greenhouse

Willow walked along one of the most familiar paths for her to a small clearing she frequented carrying a basket of gardening tools and a watering can. Using magic was fun, but sometimes she found peace and relaxation in tending to plants without magic.

As she began to set up she noticed a figure out of the corner of her eye.

“Oh hello there,” she greeted, briefly turning her head to the newcomer though had to double take when the distinct white and gold uniform caught her eye.

She was so surprised that she didn’t even think to kneel or bow, passers by were not that uncommon but the Golden Guard was one of the the last people she expected to come across.

Great another unannounced visitor. 

Did she need to put up signs around her cottage now? ‘Go away, Goddess on vacation’? First it had been the masked weirdos stumbling on the uninhabited glade she’d set up her cottage, calling her a ‘wild witch’. They’d tried to arrest her but that proved difficult after a quick curse turned most of them into wild pigs and sent them scattering.

Now some twerp in gold armor was tromping through her newly set up garden.

“Listen, I’m in not in the mood today and you just stomped on my nightshade. So I’ll give you a choice: Leave and let me enjoy my solitude in peace...”

“Or stay and I’ll get cross.”
