Speaking of old AMVs, this is one that heavily inspired me when I was first starting out.
GoldenPhonix01 was one of the early AMV makers that I remember following. I liked this video in particular because it wasn't too flashy. I was using WMM at the time and this gave me something to look at and go, "yeah, I could do this!"
I also remember getting serious chills when the beat kicks in about 3/4 of the way through. Seriously great pacing.
