Cosplay Wrap Up
Overall I was happy with my cosplay. Happy with the look I achieved and with the process of assembling it. There weren’t any FMA artists at the con, so not a lot of FMA interest. I saw 2 Mustangs and an Ed. I did get recognised but a lady who said she cried when Hughes died, and it made her sad to see me. So, I guess that was good?
Cosplay Update
Today I'm hoping to finish the baldric, the push knife, and play with my hair, colour and style.
I could get obsessive about filling and sanding this until it's all smooth and such, but no. I'm taking it a bit easy on this one.

Cosplay Update.
I'm having fun and getting stuff together. Today I've finished the letters from home. I took references from both the Manga and FMAB, and smooched them together.
I had super fun drawing and printing the stamps for the front of the letter. The results weren't as crisp as I would have liked, but I'm not obsessing! Haha. And, thanks to this project, I've been motivate to learn more skills in Tinkercad!
What I have to 'not do' is get all worried about the lack of visible detail on the front of the larger letter. I think you should really see stamps etc poking over the corner. But no! I'm going to leave it.
This week I also got a shirt from the opp shop for $2 🙂 and the PERFECT glasses!! And a haircut, nice and short in back.
Next thing to get going on is the spats.
edit - I've decided Garcia's maiden name is Cameron.
Still thinking about a Maes Hughes Ishval cosplay. Thing is I can’t let the accuracy thing get too intense or I’ll do my head in. Got to keep it simple and fun!
