Dustin, C-3PO, and their daughter Gilda and unborn son Aurelius were on a deep space transport years after after the war in the Empire- they were joining a few of their old pals on a diplomatic mission. But after being prematurely ejected from hyperspace due to a mishap with their hyper drive engine, the crew found themselves seeing a creature only known from old legends talked about by deep space travelers...A Starweird.

Dustin's home was always Bespin. And having the golden love of his life join him in Cloud City on the occasion was wonderful.Being together made both of their chaotic lives just a little bit better- even during a massive galactic war. Both organic and droid found themselves together when they had some rare moments of peace and quiet. They would spend their time growing their relationship as Dustin opened up about his past as a Stormtrooper, and in turn, he found himself falling for the sassy, prim yet very intelligent droid. And the ex-Stormtrooper who thought he had little to fight for became a Rebel with someone new to fight for.
