Beading should take me two weeks. Gold work another week. I’m thinking I can start pleating and smocking by end of March
Then I need to work on my commissions 😬

Gotta paste the back and then get it framed still. But pretty happy with the stitching.
Wreath of Olive Leaves (4th century B.C.) ✧ Gold · Greek Late Classical–Hellenistic · Western Turkey
Toilet set in original leather case, produced in Augsburg, Germany, c. 1743-45
Dragonfly stitched on blue felt. Beadwork and Goldwork. Silver and gold wings. Took me a little while but I’m really happy with how it turned out!

Le Comte de Vaudreuil (detail), 1758, François-Hubert Drouais - oil on canvas

Little boat is just under 20 cm long and was found as part of the Broighter hoard on the shore of Lough Foyle in County Derry in 1896.
It's a super cute example of the Irish goldwork that used to be so prevelant.
