If this was at any other time of the year, 'wait for next year' would literally be such a bad thing to hear. But I constantly gotta remind myself that nah, this is the end of the year. Literally 3 days.

I wanted to take a little break from social media and drawing, so I could go into the New Year without being stressed out as heck. And btw, thanks for reminding me that 3 days are left. I am terrified and very happy!

He watched.

         He watched as they lowered the casket

As the chocolate cake she was so famously known for was lowered atop of her.

                    As each shovelful of dirt was compacted- all 6ft of it…

He watched until everyone else had long since left and the night grew dark and he could no longer see. It felt like the ground had been pulled from under him, and just like that he was kneeling beside the freshly filled grave, tears leaking from his eyes so thick and fast they didn’t have time to freeze on his especially pale cheeks. His slender fingers dug into the ground, almost as if to anchor himself.

  “I’m sorry Cupes… I should have done something- I should have…”

                         ‘I loved you- I’m sorry I couldn’t keep you safe.’
