is this how you go about making a digimon oc

the other day, I picked out digimon partners for some of my sonic ocs and Uchida has a Gomamon now! Prior to discovering that Gomamon could actually digivolve into Chirinmon/Tyilinmon I decided to switch out her Kudamon partner in favor of a more water-based digimon, but to pay homage to the old Kudamon partner I gave the Gomamon some vague Kudamon traits.

Lorewise this gomamon doesnt have a name or a set of pronouns yet but I am thinking that they'll be like a younger sibling figure to Exxie's demidevimon (who may be getting a revamp?) who's been a little too over-protective of them, so they aren't really... great at holding their own in a fight. In contrast to their Demidevibuddy, this Gomamon vibes like they'd have a personality similiar to Joe's gomamon from the anime. Bubbly and comparitively laid-back but perhaps a little too trusting for their buddy's liking.
