Aaahh yes sorry I need to update links!! Bondibee shop is dead, heartheavypress.com is new best friend (I rebranded my business stuff)

Hitsugi made haste to the bus line, keeping pace with the sleuth while on her way, visibly at ease now that an important issue had been addressed and somewhat of a truce was reached.
"…Must be nice to have something to be born into." she meant no ill-will with those words, merely speaking her mind. "What I mean is, there was a set way of life for once you entered the world, be it of lineage or values. I have vague memories of my family, you see. I’m a tiny bit envious of that." she shrugged. At the very least, Hitsugi was sure her lineage wasn’t one of assassins. Who she ended up today, doing what she did, was definitely a result of inteference by a third-party. From time to time she’d wonder if there were any relatives left alive, and if there were, were they living the normal life she dreamed of? Train of thoughts digressing, Hitsugi laughed bitterly before speaking again.
"However, this is the first I’ve heard of anyone beautifying the need of villians to maintain a balance. Perhaps neutrality is more than what I perceive it to be…more than the best perspective to get the full picture of a situation…" arms crossed, Hitsugi cocked her head at Kirigiri, a small grin evident. "Then, in that context it is safe to assume peace is the result of law and order, while disharmony from lawbreakers like me. If that is the role I’m supposed to play, in all honesty it doesn’t sound that bad. Afterall, it’s just the cycle to keep the world going."
═══════════════ — |✧|~{[✖]}~|✧| — ═══════════════ ⋙ Kirigiri wasn't sure if that was a compliment or insult. It was nice to have a steady foundation set out for a person, but at the same time it took out some freedom. Yet, at the same time it was something she couldn't get out of either. At least easily. The detective could imagine her father being the prime example. He wanted nothing more to escape his life as a detective, thus running away and even abandoning her in the process. Her freedom was also taken away as well. She was the heiress of the detective bloodline. She needed to pass it on too and that was a little bit troublesome. ❝ I believe you shouldn't be envious, Kirigaya-san. After all, even if you have no recollection, you are free to create your own path without any interruptions. Family is an awkward term. I do believe family are people whom are more than of a blood relation. Wouldn't you believe? ❞ Waiting alongside with the assassin, her lilac hair flowed gently in the light breeze. ❝ Beautifying? I suppose if you believe that you can. All I am saying is, if there were to be a world entirely made out of peace, eventually war would only be seen. Like Yin and Yang, both sides are needed to coexist. You are free to break out of your own dreaded cycle of blood and death. No one is stopping you. Just remember, if you were to leave, someone else would fill that place, and the cycle would be balanced out once again. Like chemistry in equilibrium. One side may be used to balance the other, or something new is created. ❞ Kirigiri disliked these types of conversations at time. Her neutrality was often twisted for something she never said out of her mouth. She was thankful that the aqua-haired girl wasn't doing that. It was more so neutral on her part as well, plus it sounded more of acceptance and agreement. The sleuth knew she would swallow this fact in her mind. A friend of hers was a tool for murder. It wasn't difficult talking to criminals. She done it many a time. Kirigiri wasn't even assigned for these things, nor did she want to. It was almost funny to say, assassins were almost the bad side of neutrality. She wouldn't dare admit this however. ❝ You are given power to shape your life to the way you want it. How you do it is up to you. ❞ It was almost as if Kirigiri had detected the slight envy about the fact she lived a normal life as well. "Normal" was a difficult term for it, but it was better than constantly being told to kill someone for a reason that you may not agree to. Her few last words were indirect consoling, even though Hitsugi may not need it. ⋘ ═══════════════ — |✧|~{[✖]}~|✧| — ═══════════════
