Gone in a Second || Dallison
Allison wasn’t sure why she felt so nervous over this when she had already taken a test before. She understood Derek’s want to see the proof that she was pregnant for himself and she was completely okay with retaking the test before they headed to the doctor’s tomorrow for her first exam. Too much time had passed as it was and Allison didn’t want to go too long without visiting the doctor’s and getting started on pre-natal vitamins. But for some reason, Allison had a foreboding feeling about this. It wasn’t a feeling she liked in the pit of her stomach. Sighing, Allison pulled on her loose pajama bottoms on and fixed her tank top, her hair wrapped high in a bun. She didn’t see reason to get more dressed up, Derek wouldn’t care if she was comfortable in her own home and she loved that about their relationship with each other. They were comfortable.
She was picking up loose objects lying around her room when the familiar purr of the Camaro reached her ears from her open window. Luckily, her dad wasn’t home and with Kate no longer living with them, it gave Derek and Allison more privacy and allowed Derek to actually be able to park in her driveway. Allison dropped what she had in her hands and leaned over the sill of her window just as Derek got out of the car, plastic bag in hand. “Doors open, Der.” Allison called down, smiling faintly at him before closing her window and leaving her bedroom. In the next moment, Allison found herself sitting on the top stair of the stair case in front of her room, knees to her chest as she watched Derek walk into her house. Part of her really didn’t want to do this and Allison didn’t know why she felt like that but that only made her more anxious.
