Hand sanding scales is a lot of work.. But it's one of my favorite parts of the process. I get to watch the beauty of these woods and composites be uncovered as the grits get more refined. This handle is at 600 grit in the process. Next is 800, 1200, 2000 and then a trip to the buffing wheel.
