Sonnett talking about taking Ryan and Lilly under her wing
so happy and proud of the success for two human beings I've never met and recently discovered!! wish them continued success... hope fame doesn't change them and they are surrounded by good people! ♥️
Dylan and Tyler aren’t doing the Teen Wolf movie.
Arden Cho isn’t doing the Teen Wolf movie.
Daniel Sharman isn’t doing the Teen Wolf movie.
Dan’s out here making sure we care about our mental health, and now here comes Phil telling us to take care of our physical health, too. I’m here for it.
Two good eggs 🥚🥚
Six hits or six million hits, you are a fantastic writer, friend. I've never even seen Single Parents, but I will always read anything you write.
well this is about the gosh dangest nicest thing ever.
(also it's up to 19 hits now...so...basically I'm a rockstar.)
(I told @thelillykane it's like I organized and put on a parade just for her.)
Know your eggs
Its so weird to me when people use ‘good eggs’ as a reason for why religions are good actually. Okay, maybe you personally don’t think suicide bombers, ISIS, religious—based bigotries, etc. are good and personally don’t agree with them yourself. . . . . . . . . .What a shame that there are so many OTHER MEMBERS of your OWN religion, who do not agree with or think like that than, isn’t it.
Just because you, as an individual religious person, don’t agree with what other peoples in your own religion do and use that religion for. Does NOT mean that somehow it doesn’t happen anymore, or even really that your own religion doesn’t directly encourage and enable such harmful religious peoples/groups! In fact, this type of just ignoring bad people/terroists of a religion as merely being only the ‘bad eggs’ of that religion. I would honestly say does much more HARM than it could do good.
And it doesn’t mean it’s not valid. It’s a classic No True Scotsman. There is just abject denial that these “bad” people are doing what the religion says to do. Once invoked, that’s the end of all thought on the matter.
Which, indeed, makes the whole thing worse. It’s bad enough that people are doing those things in the name of the god, ideology or belief system, but other members completely deny any recognition of the problem and any need to address it within their ranks.
It becomes clear that the belief advocates anything you want - including both permitting other members to “misuse” it, and the “true” members to bury their heads in the sand, tacitly condoning it as a result.
Life goes on, nothing changes, followers put their fingers in their ears, and they keep acting bewildered that anyone would have a problem with their beliefs.
