it really sucks when independently of fandom you have consumed a piece of fiction and your normalbrain got its claws in the character who just so happened to be the internet's white boy of the month since it debuted and you can enjoy approximately .004% of the fanwork made for said character because most of it is mischaracterized woobificationslop of your fave in memorium
