Encouraging words for those world building, writing, or creating things in general.
When you're creating it's like you're exploring an uncharted area. You're traveling down a path, you have a general idea of where you want to go but you don't know the exact route. The sign posts are sometimes sparse, if they exist at all, and your map is unfinished. So you follow your heart and trust your gut to lead you the right way.
As you're traveling down your path at some point you might make a turn and go "Woops, wrong direction." So you have to back track a little to get to a new path.
Maybe you're going the right direction but the road is rocky or has pitfalls to trip you up. Sometimes there's tons of obstacles in the way like briar bushes making you slow down, but eventually you'll get through.
And maybe you finally get there and go "Huh.... this isn't what I thought it'd be at all..." then you can either enjoy your unexpected destination or you decide to start a new path to a new adventure. Which is ok too.
Either way, whatever you do remember it's not just the destination that matters. It's the journey.
Remember, it's not always easy, but don't give up.
