After running through 5 (five) rounds of revisions with the woman at my pin company, Reyna (sorry Reyna, GOTTA get those pixels how I need 'em, you KNOW this) this is my first finalized pin design. It'll be rendered in peach, pink, a cranberry color, white, mustard, and black, with gold accents. Available in about a month. My first pin design - the "Sweet Pussy" pin, because what else can I call it? 💕 She's sweet in some ways, and not so sweet in others. 💕 The design is a little bit 70's kitsch, a little bit Tarantino's Kill Bill "Pussy Wagon", a little bit candy-colored, sugar-saturated, a little bit 50's tough girl gang, like the Pink Ladies, but very heavy on the Rizzo. If I ran a girl gang we would all wear these pins, while we lit things on fire and curled our hair with Coke cans. Most of the patches and pins I've made so far have leaned heavy on my desire for sweetness and sex and a sort of hard femmeness and lightness and good things in my life - good things that I didn't always think that I deserved?
