goodbye nyc! i will always love you!
As I prepare to leave this magical city for two weeks I am heavily weighing on what I want to gain from this experience. In less than 4 days I will be flying out to Maine and 324 miles from my comfort zone. I aim to come back determined, changed, unbothered and oh so very thankful.
"My home is wherever you are." Apollo to Alden
Alden sniffled and reached up to wipethe tears off of her cheeks. She was consciously aware of the fact that she wasbeing a tad bit ridiculous but she couldn’t help it. She and Apollo wereleaving their mortal realm home and he didn’t know when they’d ever be back. Itwas the right move, of course, but she still felt bad that he had to leave thisall behind because of her. Alden loved it here and she knew that her husbanddid too. The apartment in the city was home. The most beautiful and scary andamazing home she’d ever lived in. And she had to say goodbye. With tears stillin her eyes she looked up at Apollo and nodded her head. “You are my homeas well.” She agreed, giving him a small smile. “Where ever you lead, Iwill follow, and we will make a home there.”
This super cute family is moving away to Washington DC! Boo! We’re so happy they decided to show their love of NYC with an IHNY session before their big move. Also these kids are super cute!

So, the movers are gone and so is all of my stuff except for two overweight suitcases.
That went so smoothly. I might have over-tipped them, but they were kind and quick.
I now have two days to do whatever I want in the city. I’m paralyzed by Too Many Options
glad to be able to see all the stars again, after this long and exhausting year I am glad to be home. but even though there are some things I happy to be rid of, I already miss so many of my new friends. <3
