i heard it wasnt so much 4 shock as it was an actual plot point but i havent seen the movie myself so idk

yeah i havent seen it either but like. i read the synopsis bc i was resigned to my fate of never being able to watch it in theaters bc my town Sucks and i cant resist spoilers

and like. the synopsis wasnt very detailed about what happens at that part? just that the fish dude makes his way to Giles’ (the gay guy’s) apartment and just. chows down on a cat while Giles takes a nap

apparently the fish dude being startled by Giles is what really sets off the plot point in question so like, the cat didnt have to die from what i can tell? again i havent seen the movie but im guessing the scene could have been done differently so there wouldnt be cat death
