The heavy feeling in the chest, the shaking legs and arms, the wet eyes coexist right now with this fresh feeling.
From first getting into this series late after Season 1,2 and 0 already came out and not being able to control myself from binge watching it when it was exam season to turning notifications on for all the staff and actors’ social medias to getting Twitter just for that reason to Natasha’s snap saying goodnight to Carmilla..
It’s been such an experience just watching the series so far and keeping up with the production of Season 3. I’ve felt so much joy with the mere BTS photos and posts that I can’t wait to see how much happiness the actual season will bring me.
Being the first LGBT show I have watched, it soon became the kick that I needed to accept myself and realize who I was and that it was okay to be me and feel this way.
I can’t thank everyone from the production and acting team enough for bringing this show to life, creating it so well with all of its portrayals and just allowing people to see it.
The sadness I feel from this amazing series coming to an end is also a happy emotion, not just because I was able to experience it in the first place but the fact that it’s been the most I felt alive in the past few gloomy weeks. All these emotions they have allowed me to feel is just another piece of evidence that I am alive and that I am grateful of being capable of feeling all of these emotions.
A sincere thank you to the Carmilla series and its amazing fandom.
