Soon blob emojis will be no more. Google’s blob emojis first burst onto the scene way back in 2013 with the release of Android 4.4. They’ve become ubiquitous ever since. However, according to +The Guardian, Android O, N’s successor due out this fall, gets rid of the bottom-heavy blobs entirely, purging them from Gmail, Google+, and Google Hangouts.
