Google Is Building New OS To Replace It's Android OS From All Devices?
Google is working on new OS called Fuchsia. The new Fuchsia OS is an open source project started last year within google headquarter and it was assumed that company is planning to replace the Chrome and Android OS. But later on google reveal that it's ultimate aim is not just replacing android but it's focus is to unify android and chrome OS and make an OS that could run on all google devices. Main Features of Fuchsia OS. 1. No need to use Linux kernel and instead will use Zircon. 2. Fuchsia have voice-commands built in its core system. 3.
Focusing on Privacy The new Google report highlighted that the Fuchsia OS team is now reach to 100+ members. This project has all the support from CEO Mr. Sundar Pichhai and Google's vice president of design, Matias Duarte who is currently working part-time on this project. The team of Fuschsia OS said that this OS will become Google's one and only OS in about five years of time, but Google denied that by saying there is no timetable set for Fuchsia.
The Bloomberg report revealed that this OS have some privacy features built in it''s core which might hurt Google's ad business. Google has made rough version of Fuchsia available for mobile devices to PCs. Right now we don't know that it's just an experiment or have much grander ambitions? But it is assumed that the new OS will be run on all kinds of devices, from home speaker, TV, tablets, smartphones, and smart watches to in-car entertainment.
It is also expected that the Fuchsia OS will also compatible with Android OS. Android is and ecosystem running on billions of devices with millions of compatible apps and beat all the competitors in years, and five years is too short to replace android.
