Google is the ultimate search engine used by 1.17 million people across the globe. A small query or a big research, people of all age groups get on Google to quench their curiosities. However, are all these people aware about the ways Google can be used? Or let me rephrase it – are we aware of the advanced search options that Google provides us with? Well, not really. The search methods that we use to surf the internet are just the tip of the iceberg; the advanced search is much deeper.

Is This A Trumped Up List of Search Terms?
Our current President might say this list is “Fake news. Sad!” but I would testify to a Senate Intelligence Committee that it’s all the truth. This is my quarterly reminder that whatever you put into a Google search, someone somewhere is going to read it. Quite possibly the Russians, but I swear that I took precautions to ensure that the Russians couldn’t interfere with this list. 10. Worst…

I really love our blog readers. Even the ones who find us by accident.
See, people generally come to this blog to read my wife’s Denglish quotes, or to learn about the culture shock I’ve experienced as an American expat living in Germany. But what never fails to surprise me is the incredible number of readers who inadvertently stumble upon our site due to pornographic, misdirected, or just plain bizarre Google searches — most of which involve alarming sex queries, sad or crying Muslim girls, and German women using the toilet. (Not kidding.)
I’ve taken screenshots of the latest ones and highlighted my favorites in yellow. Please click the first thumbnail image below to start the slideshow. (WARNING: May contain terminology which is offensive, sexually explicit or just plain bonkers.)

Summary:
I love our blog readers! (Even these weirdos.) They make me laugh, and for that, I must award their misdirected Google search engine terms with no less than 4 out of 5 Merkel Diamonds:
How about you? Have you found any particularly strange or hilarious search terms on your own blog? Let us know in the comments section below!

And You Thought Hillary Clinton’s E-Mails Might Be Bad?
This is my quarterly “Fun with Search Terms” post where I highlight the stupidest search terms that brought someone to my blog. If you come from outside the blog world to read this, I’ll explain. Those of us that operate a blog get all sorts of information about things, like how many people read our blog each day, what countries they come from, how they got to us, ie from Facebook, Twitter or…

Fun with Search Terms!
Fun with Search Terms!
This is my quarterly Edward Snowden-like reminder that whenever you put a search term into Google, someone somewhere may be reading it. Here are some of the most unique search terms that have brought people to The Phil Factor, with what I hope is humorous commentary.
