Google Keep Does not work after turning on 2-factor Authentication on Google Account

I have been using “Google Keep” extensively to keep notes on my workstation, laptop and my mobile phone.

I turned on two factor authentication recently and Google Keep stopped working on my desktop and in the desktop browser. It does work on my Android phone (of course after updating the Google Account on phone).

I just started using the Google Keep service and I have noticed that the web-interface always starts in the list-view, even if I set it to grid.

Is there a way to configure Google Keep to always use the grid layout on the web-interface?

(I am using the latest stable Google Chrome, the Android app works fine.)

The note-takers that I use, use folders. I’m used to using folders.

One thing that I thought of is to keep a separate note that has the list of all tags, but it’s too much work writing a tag and then putting it in a different note. Clicking in the list of folders is faster.

I have been taking notes with Google Keep, but I cannot find anyway to print . I cannot open the files in my drive and there does not seem to be a print button. The Chrome file-print is greyed out. How do I print notes?

One note free on Mac

You can now download OneNote for free for Macs and Windows PCs. Just Linux is missing there. The virtual notebook that MS started in 2003 is now finally not Windows-only.

I will definitely try it out soon because as a programmer you scrap many ideas that you have had and that would be great to have in some place rather than .txt files on my desktop which sooner or later are all purged.

Microsoft seems to notice that it can't wish for everyone to buy Windows PCs forever and expect people to buy an ultra expensive tool that others are offering for free.

Lately OneNote has seen competition rising. Evernote and Google Keep are services that offer similar capabilities and work great. Which are available on most platforms - including mobile ones (which is important for people who are on the move).

I personally like the fact that MS has been noticing they can't hope to do Software the way it was done in the 90's and that they are moving into something more open. Let's hope they continue improving.
