Before spot cameras were invented for use by the general public, there was a lot of work and effort that went into creating the perfection action shot. Camera men were more like camera teams of people that had to make sure everything in the camera’s view of setup perfectly. Focus had to be pulled by another technician, and the shot had to be rehearsed so that every bit of the scene was captured in the process.
