thinking about karlach's engine and just how absolutely disgusting it is honestly. there's nothing enjoyable about the thing especially now with how busted it is...

first of all it's loud. it's constantly chugging like an old car that needed a tune up four years ago. after a little while it's easy to ignore but there's always this constant chug, chug, chug with a couple of hiccups (that sometimes takes her breath away) that can be a little unsettling when people start to tune into how much worse it sounds the closer she gets to the final moments.

it STINKS. infernal machinery alone has its own unique smell but the engine itself has something more to it. i believe she smells like leaking oil some of the time (other times its just straight up BURNT oil, depends on the day). on top of the usual "i smell like the hells thanks i've heard it before" smells, she also just straight up smells like a campfire. she's got a lot going on. (once the engine is replaced and she gets her heart the campfire scent remains but the scent of the hells eventually starts to die out)

on top of it all this shit HURTS. it's literally burning her from the inside out. (THIS GETS GORY WATCH OUT) if you were to cut her chest open you would see her ribs blackened and burned, the residual heat coming to mark the others as well but not as much as her ribs. the fusing of the engine into her body to keep her alive, the complicated machinery burned and charred against her innocent flesh. the hellfire scars that stretch across her arm also warping her insides, organs and skin and all. she is forged from the hells inside and out. (no more gore u are safe)

she feels her death getting closer to her she just fucking ignores it until it's actually happening. the engine literally turns her to ASH and you don't even know its happening until its happening the reality of it all just crashes at once but this whole time THIS WHOLE TIME the engine has been getting worse and worse. it's getting louder but also eerily quiet sometimes, it hurts to get close to her even though she can be touch she can be touched but damn this thing wasn't burning this hot last night right?

IT'S SO MUCH the engine is so much and i need to finish my origin run so i can see if there are any good scenes about it
