Ever have a project you just want to give up on because you get so frustrated and stuck? This portrait was that for me. I gave up on it so many times, often in tears. I just couldn’t get it right. But I stubbornly kept coming back to it. I’m so glad I did. It’s my absolute favorite of the bunch! I can’t wait to for everyone to see it at our Animals of Africa show
